The problem with having children with multiple women is that inevitably, finances, time, and energy get spread thin. Atlanta-bred rapper, Future, is well aware of this struggle.
Despite winning a shared custody request against, Ciara his fourth baby’s mother, the talent born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn is now dealing with a request for increased child support from another. The Jasmine Brand discovered that the 32-year-old rapper is being sued by the mother of his first child, Jessica Smith.
According to the report, Smith initially took him to court in 2013 for an increase in child support payments after allegedly lying about his true net worth to keep his child support payments down. A judge eventually ordered joint custody and for Future to pay $2,800 a month in support.
But Smith is now taking the “Jumpman” rapper back to court for an increase in support. As noted by The Jasmine Brand, Jessica points out that his music career has skyrocketed and his income has increased substantially.
They report: She accuses Future of neglecting their son and failing to maintain a meaningful, loving relationship with him. Jessica claims that their son suffers from emotional and behavioral issues stemming from Future’s neglect as a father, coupled with the exposure of his father’s grandiose lifestyle in the media. As a result their son is in need of behavioral and clinical therapy to address the emotional trauma that he is suffering due to him under-performing in school and is in need of specialized tutoring.
Meanwhile…
Future’s ex-fiancee, Ciara enjoyed a week in Mexico with her son and beau, Russell Wilson. The budding family played golf, basketball, hula-hooped and had frozen treats while driving around the course.
Life sure is funny.
